Apply to be an OIF French teacher in Cambodia !

The French-speaking International Organisation is calling for applications for a new batch of volunteer teachers (VOIF) for the 2025/2026 academic year in Cambodia.

Objectives and details of the position

The main mission of volunteer teachers/trainers (VOIF) is to strengthen French language teaching through the following activities:

• Teaching French as a foreign language (FLE) at primary, secondary or university level;
• Providing expertise in French language teaching and learning to Cambodian teachers;
• Supervising French teachers (support, training, classroom observations, co-teaching, etc.);
• Leading fun educational activities in French or related to French (creating a French-speaking environment);
• Organising or supporting French-language events in schools.
  The volunteer teacher will work for one year in primary schools, secondary schools and universities in Cambodia, starting in December 2025. They will receive:
• A monthly living allowance and a lump-sum installation allowance, the amounts of which will be communicated to successful candidates at the end of the selection process;
• Health, sickness, repatriation and civil liability insurance;
• A return flight ticket between their country of residence and their country of assignment.

Eligibility criteria

The following criteria must be met:

• Be a national of a member state or government, associate member or observer of the OIF;
• Be a young FLE (French as a foreign language) professional at the start of their career (less than 5 years’ experience in the field of FLE teaching)
• Hold a national or international Master’s degree related to teaching French;
• Have a C1 level of written and spoken French

Application procedure

Each application file must include:

• The completed online form
• A copy of a valid passport
• A curriculum vitae
• A cover letter
• Copies of diplomas and employment certificates
  These documents must be written in French and be no longer than two pages. They must be named according to the following model: SURNAME First name_CV; SURNAME First name_LM; SURNAME First name_Diploma 1, etc.

The deadline for applications is 15 October 2025 at 23:59:00.
