POESAM is the Orange Prize for Social Entrepreneurship in Africa and the Middle East, which started in 2011 and is held in 17 countries where the Orange Group operates.
Objectives of the POESAM Competition
- Promote African "social entrepreneurship
- Reward projects for the launch or operationalisation of a new product or service that contribute to
- societal development,
- the development of an innovative offer,
- the integration of digital technologies into the entrepreneurial dynamic.
Who is POESAM for?
The competition is aimed at individuals or legal entities operating in Cameroon.
Natural person: You are a student, employee or entrepreneur over 21 years old at the time of submission of the application.
Legal entity: Your company is less than 3 years old on 9 March 2021.

Composition of the application file
Participants must complete and send the entry form and the project file via the website https://startup.orange.com/fr/poesam-2/
Participation form: available online, to be filled in on the website https://startup.orange.com/fr/poesam-2/
The project file: The authorised format is a file in PDF format of 10 MB maximum. Important: The name of the file must be strictly identical to the name of the project mentioned in the "Project name" field on page 2 of the entry form.
